Yamaha Motor Company Limited, is a Japanese manufacturer of motorcycles, marine products such as boats and outboard motors, and other motorized products. The Yamaha YZF-R15 is a 150 cc engine single cylinder sport bike motorcycle first introduced in 2008. In September 2011, the second edition dubbed the v2 was released in April 2014 it was released in Indonesia, and now it is released in Indian market months ago. This new model is now going to come with the two new color options of R15 v2.0 which has been show below:
Yamaha Motor India has now recently launched two new color options for the Yamaha R15 Version v2.0. The new colors ‘GP Blue’ and ‘Streaking Cyan’ will be immediately available at all the company’s authorized dealers in the Indian market.
There are no changes in the engine department of R15 v2.0, and the Yamaha R15 V2.0 continues to use the 150 cc single-cylinder, 4 valve engine that churns out 16.7 bhp of power and 15 Nm of torque and comes with six speed gearbox transmission in it. For braking, the Yamaha R15 employs a singe 267 mm disc at the front and a 220 mm disc at the rear.
It shares its instrument console with the older version. It has a round pod for its analogue tachometer while it features a digital speedometer, fuel gauge and odometer with other LED indicators. The blue back light looks killer at night but could have been more darker in color.
Yamaha R15 is known for its sporty posture which was never offered before in any premium motorcycle in India. The aerodynamic design of the bike allows the rider to bend forward with knees rolled back in great position. With its low seating, one can easily find a firm hold on this bike which gives you the confidence to rule the road which is absent on bikes like Pulsar and Hero Karizma ZMR. New seat is also very comfortable with foot pegs being placed much behind than normal. The clips on handle are nice and convenient to hold and the overall feel while you drive this bike is spectacular.
Safety is very must in the driving, for this Yamaha motor India give dual headlights of R15 Version v2.0 which allow you to get a clear view of roads at night and confirms you safe driving. There is no storage space in this bike. ”The new colors for the Yamaha R15 will be priced slightly higher than the standard colors and is available for a price of INR 1,17,260/- (ex-Delhi) . While the previous colors would maintain the 2014 prices. For the Racing Blue and Invincible Black, prices are INR 1,10,003/- (ex-Delhi) and for the Grid Gold the prices remain at INR 1,12,924/- (ex-Delhi).
