Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, Private Limited (HMSI) is the wholly owned Indian subsidiary of Honda Motor Company, Limited, Japan. Founded in 1999, it was the fourth Honda automotive venture in India, after Kinetic Honda Motor Ltd and Hero Honda Honda Siel Cars India. Now Honda have currently planning to launch its new Honda CB unicorn 160 in the market and below are the Details regarding CB unicorn 160 Features, Specifications, Price, Images, Expert Review.
The Latest Honda CB Unicorn 160 launch has just taken place at an motor event in New Delhi and the new model totally replaces the Trigger in the bike developer’s product portfolio for India. Honda are clear that they aren’t trying to upset the apple cart with the Unicorn 160, so you won’t see any offensive bodywork or over the top graphic schemes. In the flesh, the bike looks favorite to the eye with a smart headlamp, restrained tank shrouds and some smart plastic cladding along the sides. Adding a bit of individuality is an H-shaped tail lamp and a well designed exhaust. It’s not a particularly eye catching design but there are no offensive angles on it.
Honda CB Unicorn Features
As can be seen in the Unicorn 160 images that we have on this page here, the bike sports a rather sharply-styled bikini fairing that lends it a sleek look. Compared to the muscular design of the Suzuki Gixxer 155 and the Yamaha FZ, the upcoming model has a design and styling package that should appeal to a wider audience. The bike’s seat looks sufficiently long and its saree guard gets plastic inserts, all in a bid to lend a more premium look to the motorcycle. As has been the norm with modern 150cc bikes, the CB Unicorn 160 gets an all-digital instrument console.
If the developer is to be believed, the new Honda CB Unicorn 160 has a fuel efficiency of 62 km/l, which makes it the most fuel efficient model in its segment. Mileage is a big factor which influence the sales number of a motorcycle.
Honda CB Unicorn Specifications
The upcoming bike’s single cylinder engine displaces 163cc and has a maximum power of 14.71PS. Peak torque is 14.61Nm. The new motorcycle has a claimed top whack of 106km/h. The bike misses out on a fuel injection system. As these pics reveal, the bike also misses out on exposed chain, rear disc brake and clip-on handlebar. However, much like the Unicorn that we all know of, the new motorcycle has a mono-suspension at the rear.
