Maruti Suzuki India Limited, commonly referred to as Maruti and formerly known as Maruti Udyog Limited, is an automobile manufacturer in India. It is a subsidiary of Japanese automobile and motorcycle manufacturer Suzuki. Maruti Suzuki manufactures and sells a complete range of cars from the entry level Maruti 800, Alto, to the hatchback Ritz, Celerio, A-Star, Swift, Wagon R, Zen and sedans DZire, Ciaz, Kizashi and SX4, in the ‘C’ segment Eeco, Omni, Multi Purpose vehicle Suzuki Ertiga and Sports Utility vehicle Grand Vitara. Now they are planning to introduce some new faces of there new model to the Indian market. Below is the details regarding Maruti Suzuki All New Upcoming Cars in India.
1. Maruti Suzuki Vitara – Compact SUV
This Vitara is first shown at the Paris Motor Show 2014. It seems that the this car is coming to India will be called Vitara. Those interested in mini SUVs need not worry since the company is already working on a different car that will be based on the iM4 concept. Showcased at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, the vehicle is expected to be launched in the second half of this year.
The front side of the upcoming model is expected to have sleek headlamps, along with a rather muscular front bumper. The car will have a steeply raking windscreen and among the highlights of the upcoming model will be the floating C-pillars.coming to interior, it could be a reflection of the YRA hatchback’s cabin and will have a little same design. The upcoming compact SUV is likely to go on sale with the 1.2 liter K-series petrol engine and the highly acclaimed 1.3 liter Mulitjet diesel motor.
2. Maruti Suzuki S-Cross
The Maruti S-Cross launch is near to smash the doors and the launch of the new model will take place next month. While there has been no official date has been from Maruti on the S-Cross launch date, you can safely expect us to update you with more details as much as we finds out about it.
Talking about price, S-Cross will be positioned at the pricier-end of the its product portfolio and is likely to be sold in the INR 7-11 lakhs price bracket. This car will be available in Six color options – Silky Silver Metallic, Bison Brown Pearl Metallic, Cosmic Black Pearl Metallic, Arctic White Pearl, Galactic Grey Metallic and Boost Blue Pearl Metallic. Available features which are added with this car are, 14-spoke alloy rims (Z-trim), 10-spoke alloy rims (V-trim), Trafficators on the outside rear view mirrors, Projector headlights and LED daytime running lamps (Z-trim), AWD and disc-brakes on all four wheels (Z-trim), SmartPlay touchscreen infotainment system (Z-trim), MP3 player with USB/Aux/Bluetooth (V-trim), Start-stop button, Keyless entry.
3. Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire AMT
Maruti company have already launched the facelifted model to the market. The Automatic Transmission in the swift Dzire diesel would be supplied by Magneti Marelli, which has announced a new plant inside Maruti’s supplier park to make AMT modules models. There will be five speed unit, and based on Maruti’s other AMT offerings, would not marauding the compact sedan of its fuel efficiency. The Dzire diesel is presently India’s most fuel efficient diesel passenger car at 26.59 km/l. Powering the vehicle will be the same 1.3-litre DDiS diesel unit that does duty on the manual diesel version.
The swift Dzire petrol is available with a 4-speed automatic transmission on the VXi variant. However, it remains to be seen if this gearbox is ditched for the AMT, which has found favor among Indian buyers for its low-cost and inexpensive use.
4. Maruti Suzuki Wagon R 7-Seater
The Maruti WagonR 7-seater will be attached with the same 1.0-litre K-series petrol engine that powers the hatchback, the company may even plonk in their in-house developed diesel motors too. The suspension will be readjusted to take on the extra weight inside the car.
Maruti is expected to price the Wagon R 7-seater with a Rs. 50,000 premium over the hatchback variant, which means that it could be priced between Rs. 4 lakh to Rs. 6 lakh, ex-showroom. Launch will take place at the end of 2015 or at the beginning of year 2016.
Now coming to the length of this car, which will exceed the 3,599mm length of the hatchback but not 4-metres. Just like the 3-Rows Concept, the third-row seats will be reasonably-roomy but will leave no space for luggage apart from when the seats are not used or when the seats are folded forward.
5. Maruti Suzuki YRA hatchback
It is expected to be offered with the 1.4-litre petrol engine and 1.3-litre Mutijet diesel engine for the India market. There is also a new three-cylinder 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine which has been dubbed the Boosterjet. It will have the power to churn output of 20bhp. The five-speed manual transmission is expected to be standard across all variants while there is also expected to be an AT version as well as an AMT version for markets like India.
Launch date is not officially announced yet but it is assumed that this car’s launch will take place in the middle of the year 2016. Expected price tag for this car could be INR 7.5 lakh to INR 11 lakh approx(Ex-showroom)
