Now both are up for a facelift. It will be joined by a facelift Dzire a short while after the hatchback. Suzuki has prod with the formula of seed and has not changed anything in terms of design but has added chrome to up the premium factor of the car.
A magazine report says that the 2015 Maruti Dzire (facelift) will going to have its formal price and launch declare on February 25, 2015, although reports of leaked prices are rotating on the internet. Deliveries are set to start immediately as Maruti has already commenced dealer dispatch for India. Also based on reports that the Dzire facelift is going to be priced from INR 5.07 – 6.8 lakhs for the petrol variants and between INR 5.99 – 7.81 lakhs for the diesel variants, ex-Showroom, New Delhi.
A little changes on the Swift-based sedan are vast compared the Swift facelift which was introduced in the last quarter of 2014. A new chrome grille, smoked headlight clusters, a new front bumper with chrome enclosures for the fog-lights, a new rear bumper without the fog-light, and new alloy wheels patterns (or wheel covers in case of the lower variants) summarize the changes on the outside.
The Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire in terms of outer design will continue the same as before and now gets silver detailing on the lower front bumper but is likely to be offered only on the ZDI and ZXI variants. There is also added chrome on the grille and the bumper. Asunder from that, Suzuki is also offering a high mounted LED stoplight. However, for the Indian market, we expect that this will only be offered with the VXi, VDi and the ZXi and ZDi variant.
The interior of the Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire facelift will now feature cruise control, key-less entry and a button start. Since the top version of the car already gets features like climate control, faux leather seats and a music system with Bluetooth, AUX and iPod compatibility we expect that they will continue also in the facelift models too. However, we expect that this India car may now get rear AC vents and maybe electric seat adjustment in a bid to update the feature list and keep it on par with the competitors. Dealers says that the Dzire 2015 will going to offered with 3 or 4 new color options, including a new Dark Gray shade, a Blue and a Red color.
The power and the performance is one of the main part of the sedan cars which are designed to give the great comfort to the passenger. The mechanical package of the Dzire facelift is not expected to see drastic changes. While the 1.2-liter petrol and 1.3-liter diesel will continue to be offered, they could see increased fuel efficiency thanks to changes in the injection system and lubricant. The former produces 85bhp/114Nm while the latter does 74bhp/190Nm. The Dzire will continue to offer the four-speed Automatic Transmission gears which the current model uses.
