The Punto Evo looks significantly more attractive than the standard Punto. Elements such as the new, swept back headlamps, in particular, are gorgeous and, along with the mild power bulges on the bonnet, serve to make the Punto Evo the most striking hatchback in the country. Its side profile remains mostly identical to be outgoing model, but its wheel arches are now fitted with a set of diamond cut alloy wheels. Its rear profile received minor tweaks in the form of updated bumper and improved taillight cluster. All these cosmetic changes have certainly brought a distinct new look to the vehicle. Chrome strip on base of the bumpers and chrome finish on the fog lamp gives it a premium outlook. At this point, you should know that the nose of this new Punto Evo has been designed specifically for India and draws heavily from the Fiat Avventura concept showcased at the Auto Expo 2014. What Fiat hasn’t fiddled with is the basic body shell, which means the near-perfect proportions of the Punto remain intact, and a new set of shoes is the only real noticeable change when viewed in profile. However, at the rear, you’ll find nicely crafted clear lens tail lamps that employ LED elements and chrome insets on the bumper and mimic dual exhaust ports.

The power steering gives good experience in long journey, people love to drive it. It is bestowed with many comfort aspects that assists in giving a pleasurable driving experience. Another model called Fiat Punto Evo Sport 93PS in diesel version. Fiat is offering Punto with two petrol engine, 1.2-litre and 1.4-litre FIRE while the diesel model carries 1.3 liter MJD power train. Engine of the new Fiat Punto Evo continues to come with same set of engines as the previous car. The fuel-efficient, dynamic and Eco-friendly engine gives it high performance. The Petrol version has been upgraded with the latest advancement called Fully Integrated Robotized Engine (F.I.R.E) to deliver better fuel efficiency and stellar performance.

However, its top end Sport variant is equipped with a slightly tuned engine, which belts out 92bhp of power and about 209Nm of peak torque. All engines get a 5-speed manual transmission. There are two petrol engines. All the diesel variants will be equipped with a 1.3-litre Multijet engine, which is capable of producing 75bhp of peak power and 197Nm of maximum torque.  One with 1.2-litre unit that produces 67bhp/96Nm of torque and another with 1.4-litre unit that produces 89bhp/115Nm of torque. The 1.3 liter Multijet diesel engine will churn out 75bhp/197Nm and 90bhp/209Nm. The 1.3L Active/Dynamic/Emotion diesel engine has an estimated mileage of 21.2 km/pl and 1.3L 90-HP diesel engine delivers 20.5 km/pl mileage.
